Plot Recap: Kidnapping, Conspiracy, and Betrayal
According to the TudumByNetflix, the scandal is triggered when Dalton’s husband, Dr. Alex Anderson is abducted during his medical mission in French Guiana. French President Vivienne Toussaint is entered when the kidnapping reaches a threatening point of releasing the obscene video of her stepson.
With healthcare funding and a weakened military, a darker conspiracy emerges which makes Dalton more vulnerable with political backlash. The abduction is led by the former soldier John Shagan who holds grudges against Dalton due to the past event when his wife died during the evacuation she approved. Shagan aims to orchestrate an operation with General Livingston to establish military dominance over the government.
